Smoothie bowl

This is fab if you love a smoothie but prefer to feel like you are actually eating something at breakfast. Oats are an amazing source of low GI carbs and B vitamins so fabulous for energy. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • Whatever you want in your smoothie but aim for a couple of portions of fruit and a couple of portions of veggies For example: cherries, banana, avocado, kale and spinach. Mix with milk of some kind (doesn’t have to be dairy) or water
  • Oats
  • Seeds
  • Cinnamon

Method:

  1. Whizz up your smoothie in a processor
  2. In a bowl, pour in a portion of oats (around 40g)
  3. Add the smoothie mixture, giving it a good stir
  4. Top with seeds and cinnamon and some sliced fruit if you want
  5. Prepare to feel full of health!
