Workout with Suzie!

The workout of the week features a very special guest!  It is exactly a year since Suzie (the first person who completed my 8 week programme) started her journey.

This time last year Suzie was nearly 19 stone and a size 22. She had tried to lose weight in the past and whilst she had managed it at times, she was a typical yo-yo dieter….what she lost would end up going back on (and more). At her heaviest point, Suzie was over 24 stone and a size 28. She decided she needed to change her life.

From July to October she lost weight on her own by watching her diet and then, despite being super nervous, decided she needed to add in exercise. So she came along to my bootcamp sessions in Bishops Stortford. She has been super consistent with exercise – coming to bootcamp 4 times a week and then adding in a PT session every week as well. She has gone from someone who struggled to jog 50m to someone who can run 5km with ease (and whilst constantly moaning at me!)

In March, I asked her to be one of my testers for my 8 week Kickstart Programme. She embraced every part of it and it revved up her weight loss again with 19lbs lost in 8 weeks. Since then she has carried on working hard and using everything she learnt on the programme and now, one year on, Suzie has lost nearly 7 stone and she is fitting into a size 12-14! She is AMAZING and I really couldn’t be prouder.
